Sam Clark Slaughter

Sam Clark Slaughter was born October 16th, 1964, to the late Mr. Samuel Bank Slaughter and Mrs. Fannie Stainback Slaughter in Oxford, NC. He departed life at Duke Hospital on December 2, 2022.

Sam obtained his education in the Granville County School System. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age. In 1997 he later joined the House of Prayer Ministry in Durham, NC.

In 1994 Sam was united in holy matrimony to the late Lisa Maxwell Slaughter.

Sam or Clark (Aka Rerun) is what the family or friends would call him sometime. 

He was a very outgoing, life of the party, dancing and always like to sing.  He had an amazing smile. We know that he is resting in the arm of the Lord, and he will be truly missed. We will miss him always in our heart. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Lisa M. Slaughter, one sister Emma A. Slaughter, three brothers Pastor James T. Slaughter, Joseph Slaughter, and Jerome Stainback, his mother-in-law Mary Fuqua, two brother-in-law James Guthrie and Rodney Maxwell.

He is survived by four sisters Michelle Slaughter Bowditch (William), Kathy Slaughter Snyder, Patricia Slaughter Graham (Weldon), Jacqueline Slaughter McCrea, two brothers Warren Slaughter, Nick Stainback, four brother-in-law Dexter L. McCrea Sr., William E. Bowditch, Weldon Graham, Tim Maxwell, sister-in-law Marilyn Slaughter, and one Uncle
