Roy (Flap Jack) Hawley

Roy Anthony Hawley’s son of the late Johnny Lee Hawley and Blanche Glover Hawley, was born December 10,1965 in Granville County, North Carolina. Roy entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 13,2024 in Durham North Carolina. Roy preceded in death his brother Bennie Lee Hawley, three nephews Marcus, Layette, Mondrell.

He was educated in the Granville County School System. Roy worked at Bojangles in Durham North Carolina. Roy also loved washing cars.

Roy leaves to cherish in his memory two brothers Milton Satterwhite, Oxford NC, James Hawley, Durham, NC; three sister, Blanche Mae Glover, Mamie Lou Hawley and Barbara Hawley both of Durham NC; one aunt Ernestine Moore, four uncles Amos Glover, Sam Glover, and a host of nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends. A special friend Wanda and her grandson King.
