Phillip Parker

Phillip Leon Parker, 47, of Durham, North Carolina, passed away on April 28, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1977, in Durham, to the late Rosalyn Parker Foushee and Benny Taylor.

Phillip was known for his outgoing personality, his deep love for family and friends, and his infectious sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos, and spending time laughing and making memories with those he loved.

He is survived by his four children, Rosalyn Parker, Phillip Parker, Omar Michael, and Amaya Parker; five grandchildren; two sisters, Angela McNeil (Delescio) and Lashonda Taylor; one brother, Anthony Purcell; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Hanes Funeral Chapel in Durham, North Carolina.
