Malinda Jean Lucas

Malinda was a woman of strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family. She carried herself with grace and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Leon Howell, her husband James Lucas, and her grandson Walter Harris.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Phyllis Hester, Yvonne Harris, Sheryl Davis, Darryl Hester Sr.,( Patricia Hester) and Cornell Hester. Malinda was a proud grandmother to Michael Hester, Terrance Hester, Kristen Hester, Tracee Hester, Darryl Hester Jr., Tiffany Hester, and Brianna Hester, Jennifer Silvestro and she was also blessed with 11 great grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.

Malinda will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
