With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. Jimmie Lee Owens, who peacefully entered eternal rest on April 7, 2025, at Treyburn Rehabilitation Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Herbert Rhodes, Sr., and Elizabeth Owens.

His life will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Fisher Memorial Church in Durham, NC. Family and friends are invited to a public viewing and visitation one hour before the service, beginning at noon at the church.
