Gloria Jean McLaurin

Gloria Jean McLaurin was born October 11, 1946 in Durham, North Carolina.

Gloria transitioned September 24, 2021, passing peacefully.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

Marie Green-McLaurin-Nelson (her Mother), Robert Nelson (her Stepfather),

Daniel McLaurin, Jr. (her Father),

and her loving Grandmother, Mrs. Evelyn Gilchrist-Green.

Gloria was highly educated, graduating from North Carolina Central University,

for both Undergrad and Graduate School studies.

Gloria was a Chemist as well as Homeopathic Consultant for Healthy Living.

Gloria was very spiritual, becoming an Evangelist.

She graduated from Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She enjoyed spreading the Word of God. She enjoyed traveling the United States

making widely known the Word of God and her Religion.  She was a devoted Spiritualist.

She later found time to pursue her Theology PhD.

She leaves to mourn nine brothers and sisters;

Ruth McLaurin-Mitchiner (George) of Durham, North Carolina,

Debra McLaurin of Palmdale, California,

Pamela McLaurin-Hicks (Jimmie) of Durham, North Carolina,

Darryl McLaurin of San Francisco, California,

Robbin McLaurin of Henderson, Nevada,

Reginald Nelson (Anna) of Las Vegas, Nevada,

Bridgette Nelson of Pasadena, California,

Tara Nelson of Henderson, Nevada,

and a host of relatives and friends.
