On Thursday morning, October 12, 2023, at 2:00 am, the "Angel of silence" silently crept into the room of Evelyn Joint and with tenderness and compassion, closed her eyes that had seen vision of life, sealed the lips so often uttered words, folded the hands and stooped the feet that made its last journey to the hospital. Ms. Evelyn worked many years farming in the Morrisville, North Carolina area. She was a humble person always with a smile on her face....and a really good cook.!
