Eugene Alphonzo /Alfred Harris

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eugene Alphonzo Alfred Harris, who departed this life on March 4, 2025, in Durham, North Carolina. Born on September 27, 1958, in New York City to Yvonne Harris, Eugene lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and devotion to his family and friends.

A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at noon at Hanes Funeral Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour before the service and will also be receiving visitors at the home on Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14.    Please get in touch with his family at 919.884.7726 for address information.
