Clinton Thompson

Clinton Randolph Thompson, son of Edna Alston Thompson and Clinton Thompson of North Carolina was born August 18, 1954, and at the age of 68 he was called home on April 17, 2023.

Clinton “Randy” Thompson grew up in Hillsborough, NC and went to Orange County Public Schools.  He graduated from high school, Central Carolina Technical College in Sanford, NC, and enlisted in the Unites States Army.  Clint retired from Cree after more than 25 years of employment.

He met his wife Helen Thompson of 21 years in Durham, NC. Clint loved basketball, UNC Tarheels, the Dallas Cowboys and loved all he met.  Many of his passions were spending time with family, calling everyone for holidays/birthdays/special events.  Clint was a member of Harvey Chapel AME Church, Rev. Willis M. Camp, Hillsborough NC.
