Mrs. Annie Ruth Williams, the beloved daughter of Sula Mildred Cameron and Emmet Satterfield, was born Anna Ruth Cameron on June 16, 1930 in Timberlake, North Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on February 6th, 2021 at Duke Hospital.
She was married to Thomas Williams, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Theodore Cameron and Douglas Cameron and a granddaughter, La Kisha Daye.
Mrs. Williams, known by her grands as "Nana," was educated in Person County Schools. She was a proud member of Antioch Baptist Church. She retired from Gold Kist and was a caregiver to others. She enjoyed attending church, bowling, and cross word puzzles. Annie was kind, funny, full of life, and uplifted everyone she came in contact with. She was well loved.
Annie was the proud mother of G beautiful children. Being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother brought so much joy to her life. She enjoyed watching her family grow. She loved family and had a special bond with her cousins, "Sister" and Gladys Johnson. Above all, she loved the Lord and taught her family to do the same. She created and shared many special moments with her family.
She leaves to celebrate her life her daughters: Angelia Carrington, Priscilla Ann Carrington, Jacqueline Denise Haley (Kelvin) and Saundra Carrington; 9 grandchildren; Theodora, Teresa, Demario, Michael, Dorothy, Santonio, T'Kara, Tomeka and Tierra; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Annie's circle of endearment also includes her god daughter, Carolyn Bridges, adopted son, Harry Goodman and cousins; Katie Cameron, David Lee, Ann and Sheena, Lisa Richmond, Faye Hughes, Gladys Johnson, Lillian and Anthony McCrea; and host of other dear relatives and friends.
