Mrs. Barbara Jean Carroll-Gainer passed this earthly life on February 14, 2019 at UNC Medical Center. She leaves to cherish her husband Michael Gainer; Two Sons; Deandre Gainer & Corey Lee Jarrett; One Daughter; Shanitra Hunter (Tim), Three Brothers; John Carroll (Sharon), Nathaniel Kenan (Marie), Randolph Kenan; Two Sisters; Deloise Mack (Tim) and Gloria Whitfield. One Grandchild Marcus Monk.

Services will take place Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at Orange Grove Missionary Baptist Church (505 East End Ave, Durham, NC 27703) at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to service from Noon until 1:00 PM. Following Services, Interment will take place at Glennview Memorial Gardens.
