Anthony Broadie

Anthony Lamont Broadie was born on April 21, 1974 and departed this life on August 20, 2019. He was the son of Albert Broadie and Geraldine Horry. Anthony attended Durham Public Schools. He attended Bell Yeager Freewill Baptist Church and became a member at an early age with his grandmother (Sally Broadie who was his one love), Anthony worked for Bojangles and later went to work for Ramus Landscaping Company. He finished up his work career as a Certified Flogger for the City of Durham while working for Labor Finders. Anthony loved to read and listen to music but, nothing could take the place of him watching Sports (Basketball, Football and wrestling).

Anthony had several family members to precede him in death, his Father, Albert Broadie, Grandparents, Sally and Willard Broadie, Brother, Herbert Walker(Skip), Sister, Linda Walker and Uncle, Clavin Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memory. Mother, Geraldine Horry (Charles),Step Mother, Christine Parker, Daughter, Alexus Broadie, Son, James Thorpe(J1), Grandson, Ishmel Shamuddeen, 5 Sisters, Tequilla Horry, Bianca Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Cynthia (Nette) Russell, Betina Parrish-Parker (Kevin), 6 Brothers, his twin, Antwan Broadie, Dewight Herron, Frankie (Buttbutt) Clemons, Robert Parrish, Timothy Parker, Derrick Parrish (Michelle), 6 Uncles, Barry Ross, Donald Walker, LeRoy Walker, James Holloway, Eddie Broadie, Edward Broadie, 5 Aunts, Eulamae Cotton, Brenda Best, Lisa Walker, Ernestine Allen, Rachel Wilson,  Nieces and Nephews, Tiffany Walker, Latia Bynum, Jarell Walker, Tanequa Walker, Keshonna Walker, Travion Lassiter, Amelia Thompson and his Companion (Soul Mate), Shakemia (Kim) Kirkland.
